About the author
Background
D. M. Kistler was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in New Jersey, just outside of New York City. He received his undergraduate degree in Music Theory and Composition from Drew University and worked as a full-time musician in Boston for eight years. Deciding it was time for a career change, he studied computer programming and has been developing software systems for various U.S. Federal Government agencies ever since. He can still be seen playing in rock and roll bands and orchestra pits for various theater productions in the Baltimore/Washington metro area.
